Tooth Desensitization

If you have been bothered by teeth that are sensitive to cold, when you brush, breath in cold air, or rub your fingernail along the gumline, chances are you have gingival (gum recession).  This condition may be simply a sign of ageing, or if you are in your twenties or thrities, a history of orthodontic treatment may have hastened the process.  In any case, over the counter desensitizing toothpastes are usually ineffective unless used repeatedly for many months.

We can resolve this problem with a single application of a desensitizing liquid that is placed on the teeth for a few seconds.  The results are immediate and long lasting, usually for up to a year.
